Sheesh...

Tue Apr 3, 2007, 8:38 PM
  • Mood: Relief
Ok, well I procrastinated and never got around to work on something just yet, but as far as school goes things have died down and I have more free time which will allow me to attend classes pertaining to traditional art. Time management is something I have to re-evaluate, but it's going to be easy since I am dropping from all online gaming(Yes, World of Warcraft going bye-bye!).

Anyway, fun.

Resolution of our Hearts

Well, it's that time of year. The span of two weeks at the end of the year in which we fret over what gifts to give to our loved ones and hope to beat the traffic involved when going shopping for them and hoping that you don't pull your hair out in the process. The time in which this holiday season brings a small gift to ourselves from sharing the precious time with our family and friends. The gift is a feeling of joy, love and care which warm our hearts and let us see the tiny part of the world that affects us from day to day.

But as that holiday passes we party hard and socialize including the mass consumption of alcohol celebrating the new year and in which the tradition of setting a resolution to better ourselves and making that promise. In my time researching and my desire in wanting a job in the game industry, I realize that going after it for a financial income as well a dream career. Things have to fall in place and now that another year has passed I hope that I gotten wiser to help my decisions that will have an effect on my life.

Here on DeviantART, various types of art is seen and displayed from the artist in what reflects their heart and state of mind at the time. Some have been able to make a living from it or keep it as a hobby. We all realize at some time, to prevent losing this outliet of creativity which we expand on ourselves that we forget or do not realize that it should make us happy. I haven't been an artist and consider myself one yet cause I have lost sight or never learned to feel that happiness in which we express. The answer is in front of me though I have not learned how to see and understand it.

Before 2008, I will make the resolution to find this place. And to the rest of you out there, if a friend or close friend of yours is doing art, give them something they can cherish to let them know they are appreciated for who they are.

Well, this quarter at ITT Tech is just about over. Got my 3D modeling final done, and on top of it, a co-op project that me and another class mate for my Instructional Design had done great. Which gives me a bit more time to wind down and play some Phantasy Star Universe. HEHE. But also more time to draw now :D

Over the next few days I will have some more work up , I been fighting the block of drawing bodies, but I will prevail!

BUWHAHA!

  • Listening to: Nine Inch Nails - The Becoming
  • Reading: Neuromancer
Well , after being in limbo and have been given some time to allocate towards working on my art, well here you go!

Well I finally have figured out what I want to do with my art as a career. I hope to aspire in being an employed 3D artist, as well hopefully a character or comic artist. Things have been fitting right and I have been thankful for it. At ITT I am in my fourth quarter, which one of my classes is 3D modeling. Here on out I will be experimenting with drawn and 3D art.
